We will begin our third week with a biblical principle related to beginnings. In God’s book, the Bible, the first book is aptly named “Beginning” or “Genesis.” The first verse is short, concise, and to the point.
God did not write Genesis, or the whole Bible for that matter, in a haphazard way. He systematically went through how we came to be in a carefully written introduction that sets the big picture for the rest of Scripture. It is the rich and absorbing story of the facts and dynamics of our beginnings.
