We begin our third week with a biblical principle related to studying with a mind towards critical thinking. Nehemiah 8:13 (AMP) tells us, “On the second day, all the heads of fathers’ houses, with the priests and Levites, gathered to Ezra the scribe to study and understand the words of divine instruction.”
The message we want to focus on is how to study through the lens of critical thinking in order to understand with wisdom. In our digital age, we have many options available to gather data, but is it good data? We have to learn how to separate quality from chaff when it comes to information, and always study in order to better understand the subject, not simply interpret it in order to fit our preferences.
