Whenever anyone tells you that it isn’t about the money, mark it down in your daily journal. It is, in one form or the other, always about the money.
While money in and of itself is little more than a means of measuring success, it’s all too easy to get the cart before the horse and start believing that the money itself is success. When that happens, we’re in trouble. Biblical financial lessons abound, and they abound for a very good reason. To learn God’s view of money is to learn a great deal about God Himself.
