The Matthew 18 Principle is used to resolve conflict at a lot of Christian organizations. But the above devotional points out ways the principles in Matthew 18 can be applied at work. It is amazing how going directly to the person and letting them know of your hurt can lead to a very fruitful and ongoing relationship.
Consider the following questions.
- How are verses 15 to 17 different than what we usually do when someone hurts us or sins against us?
- Why would going to the person (instead of talking about the offense with others) be a productive strategy?
- Have you or have you seen someone go to another person and the above resolution strategy worked?
- Is there anyone that has offended or hurt you that you need to approach? Remember that you want to be in a listening mode and have the right heart.
