Here we see one of the classic conflict stories of the New Testament. Paul and Barnabas, colleagues in ministry, are at odds over the role that John Mark is to play in an upcoming missions’ endeavor. For whatever reason, on an earlier mission, Mark “deserted” them in Pamphylia. Barnabas, true to his nature (hint) wants to include him in an upcoming mission. Paul will have none of it. Their disagreement was so sharp, that they parted ways.
As you read this passage in Acts 15, what do you learn about conflict that you can apply to your one life?
