Acts 20 describes, among other things, the faithful and diligent ministry of the Apostle Paul. it speaks of how Paul labored to declare the whole counsel of God. Indeed this portion of Scripture reminds us that the church belongs to God and must be guarded jealously.
This week, we shall focus our attention on the ministry of Paul as described in Acts 20. Our aim and objective is to compare his ministry and our ministry in the contemporary church. We should be able to draw lessons from the Apostle Paul; which in turn can guide us to do ministry that honors God and serves His people well- to the glory of Christ our Lord.
Answer the following questions:
- Explain why the ministry of Paul as recorded in Acts 20 is admirable.
- Apart from preaching the gospel; what other significant role should church leaders play?
- Why do you think it is significant for church leaders to know that the church is the church of God?
