Proverbs 2:6, Psalm 19:14

As we begin studying biblical Greek, let us remember the words of Proverbs 2:6, “For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.” Just as we seek to understand the intricacies of the Greek alphabet, let us also seek wisdom and understanding from the source of all knowledge, our Heavenly Father.

As we learn to pronounce each sound and understand the structure of syllables, may we reflect on Psalm 19:14, “May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.” Let our study of Greek serve as a reminder to speak and meditate on God’s Word with reverence and intentionality.

Reflect on a time when seeking wisdom from God’s Word provided clarity and guidance in your life.
