Read Proverbs 24: 6-16
These Bible verses are so pertinent for a discussion on strategy. We need guidance to successfully wage war. In addition, for an organization to be successful, guidance will involve strategy and supporting documentation. The Bible verses state that the guidance of many leads to organizational success. Within the context of an organization, the “many” refers to the idea that all the stakeholders involved need to be a part of strategic plan development.
Without a strategy developed with the input of many, the organization can fall to pieces when adversity occurs. Good strategy guides the organization either allowing it to avoid adversity or successfully maneuver through it.
Organizations consist of profit and not for profit entities, such as the church. When evil comes into the church or one’s life and there is no plan, the results are devastating. The Bible has a perfect plan or strategy to guide the life of a business, a church and each one of us.
