Read Matthew 28:18-20

This week, we continue to explore Greek verbs, which are key to understanding actions and events in the New Testament. In this passage in Matthew (known as the Great Commission),  Jesus says: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”

Verbs like “go,” “make,” “baptizing,” and “teaching” highlight our faith in action. They remind us that we are called to actively participate in God’s work. As you study Greek verbs, think about how these actions apply to your life. How can you “go,” “make,” “baptize,” and “teach” in your daily walk with God?

Pray for guidance to live out these verbs, embracing the call to put your faith into action.
