Romans 12:1-3, Ephesians 4:17-24, Titus 3:5, II Corinthians 4:16
Renew your mind. What does this mean from a biblical perspective? What does this mean from a counseling perspective? This week, we will be exploring, in different words, this very act.
We have previously discussed justification as the most foundational act in the Christian’s life. So, how does this act inform the process of change? We are instructed in Romans 12:2 to be “transformed by the renewal of your mind.” In Ephesians 4, we are instructed to “no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their minds.”
If we are new in Christ, what change does this mean for us? What new goal(s) does this set for us: as individuals and as counselors?
