1 Corinthians 12:12

Within every organization, each associate has his or her own unique strengths which contribute to the success of the greater whole. This concept is very much like the church and the scriptural comparison to the body of Christ. Each part needs to respect and honor the other parts if the whole is to function well.

This entire chapter compares the functioning of the human body to how the church should function. Our bodies perform these functions without even thinking, so to speak. The body parts just take care of each other. If the leg gets hurt, the hands rush to comfort it, the mouth shouts its protest, and the other leg clumsily hops around by itself until things are healed and brought back to a state of normalcy.

In what ways can the attitudes of 1 Corinthians 12, specifically verse 12, be implemented, not only within the church, but within your organization?
