Jesus recruited His volunteer staff and made them disciples. He taught them to be confidently strong in the power of our Heavenly Father. In John 16:33, Jesus shared that, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” We can prevail over any problem through the power of Christ. The Lord Jesus gave us His Holy Spirit to provide victory when we experience strife, hardship, and adversity. He trained His disciples to have mastery over whatever difficulties were faced. The Lord Jesus continues to actively work all things together for the good of his present-day volunteers. We as His present-day representatives should learn and promote the same confident strength in Christ’s promises to us.
