Read Colossians 3:23-24
During the second week, we discussed the Parable of the Talents and how as Christians we are to be good stewards of the things for which we are responsible. In the Week Three devotional, we spoke of man’s creativity and how this spurs us on toward invention. This week discuss invention and innovation as we look at technological advancements. It is our inherent desire to create, which is part of how we reflect the image of God that leads us to create and invent and innovate.
God encourages us to be creative and think of all we do as service to Him. We have been given the gift of a creative mind and materials to work with. We also have the gift of work and productivity; indeed, a gift because we all wish to be productive and enjoy the fruit of our labor. When we build a better system, we are being creative and bringing about positive progress.
