Much of our communication is dependent on what we say and how we say it. Speech is a very powerful communication tool.
In this passage from the Old Testament, God tells us how important it is that we are careful not only with what we say, but also with how we say it. When we are trying to convince someone or communicate an important point or concept, we need to be sure that we are communicating the right message with not only the right words but also that we communicate with the right attitude. Speech is a powerful communicator, and we must use it wisely.
