The Bible is clear that we are to be passionate about spreading the Gospel.  Taking a class that focuses on international business could be a good way to think about our calling to make disciples of the nations.  Being witnesses for Christ requires demonstrating integrity and care for others.  Bringing sound business practices to another country, and in doing so, caring for the community, customers, and employees could be an excellent way to share the Gospel with others.  Of course, the challenge is that business decisions can be fueled simply by a desire to make money rather than honoring God.  And it doesn’t take being part of “big business” to struggle with greed and covetousness.  The only solution is to trust God with our material possessions and to live for eternity—not in our own strength, but in the power of the Holy Spirit.  If we cannot do that now in our current circumstances, how will we be able to do it in the future?

What are practices you are putting into place now to ensure your focus is on living for God in the future?
