Romans 12

Romans Chapter 12 has been referred to as the “Will of God” chapter.  Reoccurring themes throughout this familiar Scripture are mutual respect, harmony with all, and love for one another. This chapter reminds us what it would be like to live in a world where we are all the same, or we were robots with “AI” but no personality. God loves diversity and says it is necessary for us to live in healthy community.

God has given us different gifts for doing “certain things well.” Let us appreciate those gifts in each other rather than be tempted either to disregard our gifts or unduly promote them at the expense of others.

  • How can a principle discussed in Romans 12 apply to a business or congregational setting?
