Read Psalm 90:17
Last week we looked at Proverbs 16:3 and how, if we turn to God for guidance, He will help us establish plans. But what about implementing or acting on those plans? How do we go from planning to acting? Are there certain strategies or approaches we should take? Through Scripture, God provides much guidance on how to live our lives. For example, we are to love one another. We can apply this principle to how we implement a project: we should provide good communication and training and give respect to those involved in the project delivery. While these are good and God honoring principles, an even higher principle is that we are utterly dependent on Him. Psalm 90:17 calls for God’s favor to rest on us.
We should seek God in all we do, and He will guide our paths. As Proverbs 3:6 says, “In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
No matter how complex or difficult a project may become, we should look to God. He can lead us in the right direction for the given scenario we are facing. God is glorified through our recognition that we are dependent upon Him.
