John 21

There are many ways in which Jesus modeled the way for others and reinforced values through storytelling.  Through his leadership and mentorship of the disciples, He challenged them to leave everything and He taught people to recognize the value in others.   This is the greatest example of leadership and it reminds us of the significant role of leadership in building a positive culture.

In John 21, Jesus commands Peter to feed His sheep and tend His lambs.  Being a shepherd of God’s people requires Peter to commit to a greater cause in pursuit of a higher vision.  Great cultures are built by leaders with a focus on a greater cause and a commitment to the team.

What are some of the ways in which you would link this Scripture to leadership in an organization?

How might this be applied to building a positive organizational culture?
