The textbook for this class tells us that marketing is related to identifying, meeting, and addressing social and human needs (Kotler and Keller, 2016).
As Christians, the Bible tells us we are tasked with meeting the spiritual, social, and human needs of people. Logic tells us many of the concepts related to marketing are intimately related to the tasks we as Christians are called to do by Scripture.
As you work through this course and the marketing concepts you will study, think about the ideas and concepts as they relate to businesses in the world of commerce but also examine how they relate to you and your spiritual calling.
How does God want you to thoughtfully and appropriately employ some of these concepts in using your influence to spread His message to others in this world?
