As individuals, we are constantly impacted by the world around us, as well as by our personal experiences and beliefs. These external and internal forces influence what we do and how we act and have a powerful impact on our lives. When we surround ourselves with positive and godly influences, it is much easier to live victorious lives. Obviously, we are impacted by ungodly and negative influences, but we need to be careful to keep godly influences primary in our lives so that we are not easily influenced by negative factors.
As the psalmist tells us, we will prosper when we give attention to wise counsel and godly influences. Sometimes we find ourselves bombarded by ungodly influences in our lives and we need to guard against those pressures.
