Read 1 Corinthians 9:22;  1 Timothy 4: 8

Throughout these discussions, the themes of discipline, self-sacrifice, resilience, and the integration of faith and sports are highlighted.  The Bible verses provided offer valuable insights into how these principles can be applied to various aspects of life, including sports and personal growth. In 1 Timothy, Paul emphasizes that above all else, godliness is valuable, both in this present age and in the life to come. So, like sports, there are many good things with which we may be involved, but it is the spiritual applications in life that are most important. We must become like Christ to win all people to Him.

There are many former athletes who have used their platform to inspire others. Some became coaches, mentors, or motivational speakers. Other athletes have publicly spoken out about their faith and inspired many.  In like manner, we too, should use whatever platform we have been given, to inspire others about God, because it is He who has placed us in a particular position. Everything we do should be for the honor and the glory of God.
