Read Ephesians 4:16
Using both athletic and spiritual gifts involves giving your best effort, and using your talents to help the team, or community. Just as each part of the body contributes to its overall function, individuals contribute to the team’s success using their unique skills. A strong, or muscular, Christian is a powerful force in a nation. America needs muscular Christians who will stand up for righteousness.
When athletes play, despite an injury, and do it for the glory of God, they demonstrate resilience and determination. Athletes can inspire others with their commitment to the game, and to their faith, by not letting physical setbacks deter them. Using this analogy, Christians should demonstrate their commitment to the faith and help others in society. This is greatly needed in our nation today.
