Read Hebrews 10:24
As Christians, part of our role in the body of Christ is to “stir up love” and do “good works.” This may be easier to accomplish in our relationships with other believers, but what about in our roles at work? As you reflect this week on your learning experiences throughout the course, also consider areas within your sphere of influence where you might stir up love and good works within your workplace and team. Are there ways to consider others as it applies to our work?
Hebrews 10:24 says we must “consider one another.” A few synonyms for the word consider are reflect, deliberate, contemplate, ponder, and study. The Message Bible translates this section as follows: Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out. This also indicates that we need to develop a mindset of strategic thinking as we approach team building and management. Evaluate the team you work on or manage (if applicable) as you consider these thoughts.
