This is what I have observed to be good: that it is appropriate for a person to eat, to drink and to find satisfaction in their toilsome labor under the sun during the few days of life God has given them-for this is their lot. Moreover, when God gives someone wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, to accept their lot and be happy in their toil-this is a gift of God.
In our last week, you will deal with supply chain coordination and risk pooling. The challenges here are to understand the dynamics of the supply chain and how to manage them to reach higher profitability. As we achieve profits in our work, we may also achieve them in our own life. We should take pleasure in our work where God has placed us and receive the benefits as God commands it.
This scripture makes clear that riches come from God, but it is important to use the riches properly. Working for the sake of wealth and sacrificing time with family and God does not follow God’s will. God is the Giver, both of life and its pleasures. When God gives us riches, we need to receive and use them in accordance with His will, and to His glory.
“God will provide.” This is a Christian belief that is so relevant as you aim for profits in your work. How will you justify receiving them from God in your personal life?
