Looking at our culture today, one could become very discouraged and pessimistic concerning the future for our youth. If you spend time watching the news, the reports are bleak, and often, that creates pessimism that can sometimes infiltrate the church and affect how people view ministry, especially ministry to youth.
Paul’s words in this Scripture remind us that, as Christians, we are to be more than conquerors rather than pessimists. Paul reminds us that we have Good News! We have a reason to look at the world around us and be optimistic for the future of the church, our youth, and our communities. We are to be confident because we have a great God who empowers us to be more than conquerors in Jesus. Do your actions and attitudes represent a more than conquerors mindset?
