Galatians 6: 9-10 , Hebrews 12: 6-7,9
Operant conditioning is a type of associative learning process through which the strength of a behavior is modified by reinforcement or punishment. These scriptures are fitting for Operant Conditioning because God believes in positive and negative reinforcement. God has given us many promises of blessings in His Word as we fulfill His work, even though the work becomes tiring and mundane at times. If we continue to do what He’s called us to do, we will reap a harvest and a reward. Furthermore, if we are to be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live, we must endure chastening from the Lord for unorderly behaviors.
Reflect on a time in your life when God gave you a:
- Positive reinforcement (a blessing)
- Negative punishment (or punishment by removal)
