From country to country, healthcare delivery systems can look very different. But what remains constant, whether you are an American or a Spaniard, is the “want” to provide healthcare to all. You have opportunity this week to see how your counterparts in the healthcare field in another country answer the call to be healers and caregivers. They have some of the same motivation that you do.
In this last week, we will also look at ethics and responsibility in the financial realm.
At the time you take this course, you may have already been in the healthcare administration field, have worked in healthcare in some other role, or you are preparing for the admin field. Draw on your history and experience to answer the following:
- Reflect on the Bible passage for this week.
- Discuss the imperative of being absolutely “above reproach” in the financial arena.
Describe a time when you deliberately reached out to a person from another country to help when they were in need.
