- As you read the text and the articles, relate them to a difficult situation with a recruiter before, or a poor experience with, a company during the hiring process. Many of the mistakes recruiters made tend to revolve around communications: too much, or too little, or their language is too informal, grammatically poor, etc. Knowing the background and the level of communication skill you are speaking with, can be an important way to connect.
