Again, this week, we consider a theme of ethics and enforcing policies. This is a significant part of the role of a manager or administrator in healthcare. As a leader, you must be ethically and morally conscious of your decisions when working inside or outside your organization.
You must also act responsibly in carrying out tasks you have been given, be they shift-to-shift responsibilities or special team projects.
At the time you take this course, you may have already been in the healthcare administration field, have worked in healthcare in some other role, or you are preparing for the admin field. Draw on your history and experience to answer the following:
- Reflect on the Bible passage for this week.
- Describe a time you were responsible for completing a task that added value to a project.
Why did you gain someone’s trust by demonstrating you were capable of completing a task on time?
