We begin our third week with a biblical principle related to managing our own life.
The context of this verse is a message from Paul to Timothy about proper leadership in the church. Paul tells Timothy that an individual who could not competently lead his own family certainly was not able to lead within the church. This biblical lesson is also about the value of being able to manage life effectively. We must understand our own stress and limitations as well as be organized about our obligations in order to be effective in our decisions, our lives, and the lives of those who rely on us.
