John 21

Change is something of necessity in life, but it is also something that people resist.  The broader scope of the change, the greater the resistance we often encounter.  When we think of changing the culture of an organization, this is typically something very deep-rooted and it can be a challenging process.

Jesus is the most significant leader and change agents that we can discuss.  As Peter interacts with Jesus and when Jesus dines and communicates with the disciples in John 21, there are many examples of leadership theory and change leadership.  Although He brought about change, it was not all welcomed but it was for the betterment of mankind.  This demonstrates transformational leadership as well as transformational change.

Discuss what this means to you.  How might you embrace this in your own journey for leading change?
