In this passage from Mark, the disciples relayed to Jesus that the crowds were looking for him. The expectations people had for Jesus were very high. Throughout his ministry, Jesus faced the expectations of disciples, crowds, and the religious establishment. Through it all, Jesus had a clear purpose, mission, and calling.
