Matthew 20:26
In this passage, Matthew records how Jesus described leadership in the world and leadership in God’s kingdom. God’s values are the opposite of human values. True greatness is found in service, not in domination…in the cross, not in the crown.
The focus this week is on leadership in long-term care. You will be exploring effective healthcare governance and administrative leadership. It is these leaders who determine the direction that the organization will take and how it will get there (Chies, p.381).
- What are some ways you can envision infusing God’s leadership perspective into that of long-term care administration?
- In what ways might God’s values conflict with those of the governing body?
- What strategies would you use to attempt to resolve this conflict?
