Sociology is the study of society. The basis of society is the family and the family has its birth through Adam and Eve. God is the originator of the family and therefore, society. You may know the origin of humanity from a biblical view; now you are going to understand society from a Christian-sociological point of view.
As Christians, we have a social responsibility to God’s shaping of society. Jesus gives attention to our responsibility in Matthew by reminding us that we are the light of the world (society). As you learn the basic concept of society, you will clearly see the connection between society and Christianity.
As Christians, we are not only the light, but we spread light on statistical information, data, research and scientific methodologies by offering a Christian worldview to sociology.
