2 Corinthians 10:5 and Galatians 1:6-9
There are many philosophies that compete with the only true biblical- Christian faith. The Apostle Paul insists that such philosophies must be demolished and have every thought captive to Christ. Part of the functions of the discipline of Apologetics is to identify such unbiblical worldviews, refute them and clarify the Christian faith. In fact, the Apostle condemns anyone who would espouse and preach such a false gospel and in the strongest terms possible says that such a person is eternally accursed.
This week, our focus and consideration is to identify and clarify objections against the Christian faith biblically and thoughtfully determining how best we can refute them to the glory of God and of Christ His Son and our Savior.
Answer the following questions:
- Do you think there are preachers of a different gospel in the Contemporary Church as Galatians 1:6-9 says? Identify a few examples.
- How can you demolish the doctrinal system of such groups or persons you have named?
- How can you demolish such views with respect and reverence?
